anybody considering this "offer" would do well to make themselves aware
of the anticybersquatting consumer protection act (acpa): these url's
have *zero* commercial value because the wta would shut you down for
trademark infringement.

I bought these fair and square before the WTA gobbled them up. So if
it comes to that then it will be the WTA going up against prepaid
legal.

I KNOW who is going to win that one...and it won't be the WTA :-)

Thanks for the heads up though. I wasn't aware of what you said at
all. I'll call prepaid legal tomorrow and talk to them about this.

Well,

This is just the sort of thing for which I pay $26.00 a month to use
Prepaid legal services.

They have the finest attorneys all across America, and I can pick up
the phone, call them and get advice on how to handle situations just
like this one, and it doesn't cost me an extra penny.

So by the end of this week, I will know for sure, one way , or the
other where I stand.

http://prepaidlegal.com/info/clydel39

I hope you are wrong, but if it turns out you are right, then I will
shrug and walk away from it. At least I will know for sure one way or
the other.

I'm glad you all said what you did otherwise it is no telling how long
I would have gone thinking I was on solid ground when perhaps I am
not. :-0

I do like all millionaires do. I dress up in frumpy, smelly clothes,
don't shave, or bathe, stand on the corner and beg myself into a few
thousand dollars a day. :-)

You'll probably see me on the French Open grounds over the next two
weeks. I'll have on a grungy tee shirt with RST in big Green letters
on the front and back. that won't mean anything to people unless they
know you all.

Oh yes! I checked with my prepaid legal attorney a couple of weeks
ago, and also with Network Solutions.

Both of them assured me that these sites were purchased legally and
are mine to do with as I like regardless of what the "World Tennis
Association" thinks about it. And don't listen to the nattering nabobs
of negativism on these groups. :-)

Now make me an eight figure offer, send the money to my bank account
and they are yours to use for porn sites or whatever.

ImHotep folks,

I'm here today to thank Mr. Jingus for raising some Red flags in my
mind.

I didn't really believe him back on the day he posted what he said
above. So I contacted Network Solutions, the people who sold me the
URL'S and asked them if I was in compliance with the law doing what I
said I intended to do with these two sites.

Some woman named Jan, assured me that I could use them as I liked
since I had paid for them, and they were open at the time I requested
them. I did not call Prepaid Legal as I said I had because there
didn't seem to be any need to do that. Network Solutions is supposed
to know these things; not me.

Anyway, I received a letter from the WTA attorneys last Friday, asking
me to stop using those two sites as I was in violation of what Jingus
had said I was violating.

So now I call prepaid legal for sure. I got a call from them just now.
I sent them all the paperwork yesterday pertaining to the matter.
So the attorney called me an hour ago and informed me that I was wrong
and the WTA was right.

She said it was in my best interests to immediately cease and desist
using the sites as I was in violation of Federal law.

Can you imagine that? I remember ten or fifteen years ago when people
had website URL's that were close to big corporations, the
corporations paid BIG money to buy them away. I guess that loop hole
has been closed. As usual, I'm a week late, and a hundred thousand
dollars short.

There was a brief period of time, early in the development of the Web,
in which people -- including some courts -- were inexplicably slow to
realize that trademark law would apply in cyberspace. For some reason
there was a collective, though temporary, delusion that it would be OK
for Joe Blow to launch a web site call mcdonalds.com, even though
everyone knew that Joe Blow had no right to slap a McDonald's sign on
his garage and sell burgers there. IMO the ACPA merely clarified
rather than changed trademark law, though it also provided a new cause
of action for damages against cybersquatters.

Quote:
Anyway, thanks Jingus for taking the time to warn me.

I also want to apologize to the WTA for any inconveniences I may have
caused them. Sad( I appreciate the manner and spirit in which they
contacted me.I will call Network Solutions in a few minutes and tell
them to shutdown the two web sites that I bought the same
day/week/night that they changed to their new site.

So! How much did all of this advice cost me from PPL?

Seventeen dollars! that's all. I get unlimited legal advice on any
matter personal, or business, for the price of my monthly membership.

That's great, but you can bet they wouldn't have defended you in
litigation for 17 bucks. Smile Fortunately, you did the prudent thing
and gave up.

Quote:

It's not that Jingus didn't know what he was talking about because he
did.

The fact remains, I don't let complete strangers online handle legal
matters for me.

Of course not. No one should. But at least Jingus pointed you in the
right direction so you realized you might have a problem.

Quote:

Try and go to an attorney in your city, fax them al the stuff I had to
send them and will be sending in a few minutes. Spend about 45 minutes
on the phone discussing the matter with them, and then see if the bill
they send you is only $17.00

No doubt the bill would be much higher in most situations. However,
your case was very easy; if it had taken some real work to arrive at
the right advice, your own bill might have been different.

Then I turn on my television and see some Caucasian who stole
$420,00,000, parked his car on the bridge, wrote a suicide letter on
the hood, and then disappeared to who knows where to enjoy his life
with the money he stole from Americans who trusted him

Yet he is looked upon as a hero by MOST Americans.

While I, a fourteen year Air Force veteran, honorable service all the
way, university graduate, never done drugs, no felonies in my
background, don't hate anyone because of their skin color, or religion
get kicked around merciless online and offline.

Oh well,

I'm finally understanding the term "Nice guys finish last" It is
definitely true, for the most part, in this country.

Anyway, thanks Jingus for taking the time to warn me.

are here to see how it ended.

Joe Ramirez
Well Joe,

As Kenny Rogers used to say: "You've got to know when to hold them..
and know when to fold them"

This is also a good lesson to show what happens to people when their
mind is programmed with incorrect knowledge. I was 100% sure I was
right about this. I damned everyone who said I was wrong. Yet when PPL
told me what time it was I instantly changed my way of thinking and
did what was the ethical and moral thing to do.

It would make me oh so happy when I talk to people about a subject
that I have studied for decades, to do the same thing when I show them
that their way of thinking about black people is completely ass
backwards.
Sadly, everywhere I go online, they never admit that they were wrong
in what they believed. they continue to scream, and curse at me and at
their ancestors, African Americans.

That's the difference between me and Archie Bunker you folks. when I'm
proven wrong, I can erase the garbage in my head and replace it with
something correct, and move onwards to a better life.

Whereas the White Supremacists, simply refuse to acknowledge they are
wrong, no matter how powerful the evidence that you present them. They
simply desire with all their heart and soul to continue believing the
big lie that they are superior because of their skin color. Smile)

I give myself a pat on the back. Than you Joe for giving me some pats,
and the rest of you all have my deepest sympathies.

Except for Jingus of course. I'll be more patient with him in the
future. Regardless of what he calls me. He's proven to me that he's
a good man deep down under. :-)

http://clyde.buildlastingsuccess.com

http://prepaidlegal.com/info/clydel39

I don't know how well you attorneys are doing out there, but PPL is
looking for high quality attorneys to work for them. Then you won't
have to spend thousands of dollars a month advertising for business.
They will send you hundred of clients a month, and pay you far better
than you will make on your own, or working for some law firm. :-0

Just something to email me about privately if you are interested in
knowing how to do that.

I've had another one of my visions folks.

Al Gore will still be the democratic nominee. He is back on the front
pages now, and Dickie Cheney will still be the Republican nominee
along with C Rice.

However my new prediction is that the

Young black French Guy, Monfils, will win Wimbledon if he plays, and
Nadal will take second. Djokovic will be third and Roger will be
fourth.

Jelena will win Wimbledon, and Ana will be the runner up. :-0

And so it goes
